I know I talked to you on your birthday, but
I didn't get to posting until now. Hope you had
a good one, and I hope your team won!
Since I talked to you last, The Who's "I'm Free"
has been running through my head.
We're all happy for you.
Keep the house-a-rockin'
Item #2:
Counter's back!
Yes, the counter is back, and obviously it was working while
it was away (wiggy, but good).

Some cool stuff happening:
No Ravinia dates for us this year, the line-up and/or schedule just didn't match up with us. But there has been more than enough stuff to fill the gap. We saw BNL at Northerly Island.

BNL was followed up by Peter Frampton at HOB Chicago, while you can't make Peter out, you can see his three Marshall Cab setup on stage and his signature 3 pickup LP.
That kicked off vacation for us, where Daughter #1 took her grad money to Swim with Dolphins, much fun was had.
Yet to come; things should start settling down though we do have our Parish Family Fest coming up, a few more grad parties, a wedding, and the Jumping Jack Bash. While I don't "love" JackFM (or their ad campaign), it's hard for someone my age to pass on the line-up of groups (though certainly IMO REO could be dropped off the edge of the earth and I wouldn't bat an eye). I have to make a couple inquiries to find out the order of performance. I imagine REO or Joan Jett will play first, so I don't think we need to show up early for the show. We are mainly there for (in this order): The Pretenders, ZZ Top, and the Stray Cats.
(Almost) Needless to say, we have a Harry Potter night coming up next week, though we'll probably wait until at least then for the movie (We prefer a non-packed theater).
Oh, and I almost completely lost my guitar callouses during our vacation, and typing on this keyboard ain't getting them back anytime soon, almost time to go.
Lastly, I apologize for the inconsistent text size in this post, I forgot about this blogger bug; If you want to have different text size, you have to select the text and choose the size after you're done, not on-the-fly like in Word, and once it's tanked, you can't fix it.
