Lookie what I found under the tree yesterday!!!....I have a WONDERFUL wife.
UPDATE: The Dano was ultra-cool (and had my name on it ;) ),
but did not play right in my hands....mainly due to my pudgy mitts. Alas it
is for smaller hands than mine. I headed back to where she got it (Stonegrove Guitar), and tried everything in the shop. After torturing the owner for a couple hours with my meager skills, I decided on this:
This one played correctly in my pudgy mitts from the start. It's an Epiphone Les Paul Flametop
Ironically, the Mrs says this is what she was originally going to get me, but decided on the Dano because Daughter #1 saw me playing one on day (and the name thing).
I have a SUPER-Wonderful wife.

How the heck are you supposed to play Guitar Hero with that ... it doesn't have any buttons on the neck and there is no stum bar.
