No...I'm not a slacker...REALLY!

I get around to posting....eventually...

On the continued theme of a hectic summer.....

Movies I have yet to see...on my "Must see on the BIG screen" list:
Batman Begins (See post on that topic).
Howl's Moving Castle (getting harder to find every week...making the Hate in my Love/Hate relationship with Disney all the stronger).
Soon to be added to this list that I probably won't be able to see anytime soon is:
Fantastic Four (Ben's eyebrows need to be bigger...much bigger...he looks waaaaaaay too Human).
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (I don't care if Johnny Depp does "prefer" France, he's always fun to watch).

.........sigh.......

In the malay that is summer...I missed my brothers birthday in a spectacular fashion (sorry Jim). In a big change for us, we went to others peoples houses for the long weekend (Much thanks to Dawn & Rich and to my old work partner Mike & his wife Delores for great times!). I had to work 4th of July night, so I slept and then worked through much of the non-stop fireworks here in "The City". This week has been spent preparing for next weeks vacation...at a little cottage in Michigan right between Lake Michigan and Lake Macatawa on a little stream & pond that joins the two. I don't know just yet if it will be relaxing...or actually more work (as most of our vacations are). We're hoping for the former....with fingers on both hands crossed.
No computers going with (well...my PDA....but I REFUSE to take my wifi card with :D ).
Only one cell phone (mine, because neither my or the Mrs' jobs has the number). Though we will be taking the FRS/GMRS radios. The Mrs' Escape has been fitted with a roof carrier to take on the extra cargo of an extended trip (her car has the hitch, so where the bikes go, the Escape has to take them). Fishing, biking, hiking, and beach time will be had by all...though not necessarily all together all the time (hence the radios).
.....don't get the idea we're roughing it though...the "cottage" has several bedrooms, TV's, and air conditioning. I've tried to put the kabash on shopping...but being outnumbered 3 to 1 by females....I doubt the ban will hold ;) .

....as far as "here" goes, I will be slacking (remember...no computer).

TTFN...see you in a few weeks.
